So i removed the emblem along with the goo, tape, residue. But the paint underneath where the emblem used to be is sorta white and ghostly....oxidized? i guess. Anyways how do i get that back to its normal color? I tried waxing it, helped a little but definitely still there.

have you tried clay bar? It usually works wonders. Try the spots first to see if it works, then clay bar and wax your whole truck. IT will look new again.

Probably needs a good cleaning, clay bar, polish will get the color back and then wax.

Well I'd try having it buffed, clay bar, and waxed. The two biggest problems with emblem removal are sunfading on the paint on the rest of the truck that didnt occur where the emblems were, and that there will be no scratches or flaws in the area where the emblems were, which will make those areas stick out. But, try what I mentioned above. Even if it doesn't work 100%, your truck will look alot better all around.

x2... In that order. Some people wash again before the wax to ensure that all of the polish is off.
