head gasket question on 3.0

at the time being my 88 4runner is sitting in my garage while i wate for the water pump to come in but i was thinking the truck has 220,000 miles on it and i bet the HG was never done while i am in there should i tear into the engine to replace this time bomb or should i wate ? i do tend to drive my trucks alittle hard do you think it is a problem? or do you think i will be ok

the 3.0 head gaskets usual blow due to overheating because either the heads or the block are cast iron and the other is aluminum so they heat up and expand at different rates wich is why the head gaskets blow, so i wouldnt worry about it untill it goes, usualy theres no warning. and unless your the original owner i have a feeling its been replaced one already if it has 220,000 miles on it.
