Got the heads off and after close inpection, both are cracked. Soooooo
Best source for reman? new heads ?
Thoughts on repairing/welding?
Do not have a lot of $ left to spend.

I know attarco motors has an ad out for 3.0 heads claimed brand new for $195. Do some research on them

 

i would check out www.engnbldr.com they dont specifically list 3.0 heads on their site but i would send them an email and ask, they have the best service i have ever seen from an online store. ever. he responded to all of my emails within about 20 min. i would reccomend them. but you will have to ask about if they have them or not, but i would think they do.

Ted does not have any of the 3.0 and I wish iIcould do ($) the 3.4 swap.
I had a long block put in by a as I am learing a shady mechainc two years ago at 187K. I now have 230K and am pretty sure by the condition of the heads that he put on some used heads without much prep or inspection.
they have way to much pitting and wear for less than 45 K miles.

 

i got a set from doa racing and they work great i jave had them for 7years with not problems
