Need help wiring new stereo. Keep blowing 15 ACC fuse.

Ok so im trying to install my sony deck and purchased a wiring harness, got that all setup wired everything turned it on and it worked fine for like 5 min. then stopped. Turns out it blew the 15 ACC fuse under the steering wheel. I thought maybe... i dunno...so i put a replacement 15 in there turned the key to ACC and immediately heard it POP. (now im out of fuses).

So im thinking i didnt wire it correctly. Every wire in the harness is spliced into the corresponding colors of the new stereo wires.....except there were two orange wires in the wire harness an orange/black=illumination and an orange/white=dimmer that did not have matching wires in the new stereo, so what i did is just left the orange/white wire alone and then spliced the orange/black in with the red=12V ignition wire. Im not a stereo expert, so if anyone can steer me in the right direction it would be awesome. NEED MUSIC Thanks

Remove the orange black from the red wire. Nothing but another red power wire should be connected to that

Bad grounds don't cause fuses to blow...

Don't run it to anything. If the stereo doesn't have those wires, it doesn't need it. It will illuminate normally. Check your radio fuses on your harness to make sure you didn't blow them as well. Remove the orange wire and you will be back in business

Orange wire is only to dim the head unit so it won't be too bright when driving at night. New head units come with two because ones for a postive and one for negative. You will only need to use the postive one if it is too bright for you.
