Hi,
I'm a newbie here. Can somebody please let me know excatly where is the "brain" for the RS3000 alarm system located on a 1998 4runer LTD 2x4? My 4runer has a RS3000 system and I just bought a new aftermarket remote from ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...SA:MOTORS:1123
according to the discription it should work with RS3000 system, but I'm having trouble locating the "brain" for the unit, please help..

under the drivers seat, should be a black box

 

I already checked under the driver/passenger seats but nothing there. Also looked behind the fuse box but no luck. More help please

 

Ok, I found it. It' hidden under the carpet underneath the driver seat...
