Question Air Horn Placement?

Ok so I recently got myself a new musical air horn (Wolo brand, plays Dixieland) The instructions recommend placing it in the engine bonnet with the horns pointing down. But as many of you probably know there isn't much room in there for something like that. even with my little 22RE. So I was thinking what it I mount it in the box right close to the cab. and then covering that up with a plywood box open on the bottom for air flow and then painting that. I know i'd have to run quite a bit more wire but we got plenty of that around the shop so I'm not worried about that.

Currently my bed looks like this

First of all, no, that plywood tailgate is not staying. So I figure the plywood box would also be good for covering up the tubing used to make the custom box.

I'm still pretty new to any of this so any advice would be helpful. Also if any of you have any other placement ideas I'd be happy to hear them.
