4runner maintanance QUESTIONS?

My lights on my 91 4runner's dash board(air con and heater switches) had just went out. I was wondering if this was a common problem amongst all 4runners of this generation. Oh yeah and when I go put my truck into reverse I can't see the reverse lights for crap. Is that another common problem? Is there a few comoon problems with the 91 4runner?

I have a 91 and have had no such issues. I say just change out the bulbs. I think ive heard of the bulbs being so much fun to change when they DO go out. But no issues here with my 91.

my lights behind my a.c controls went out before...not that big of a deal. all you have to do is switch out the bulbs. there is a good explaination on how to do this on corey's site scroll down and its the 2nd topic i believe. i forget the bulb type that you need, but, you can find them at a pepboys or something along those lines. just take out the burnt out bulb and match if you cant find the exact number..thats what i did as for the reverse lights, i couldnt see mine either, so i rigged up some crapo 25 dollar fogs on my roof rack facing backwards and with a flip of a switch...light
