Whats the tool called? bleeding brakes/slave cylinders
Tomorrow I plan on replacing my slave cylinder for the clutch on an 86 5speed. Sadly, I dont have a buddy to help me bleed the system. I was THINKING about buying the tool that does it. What exactly are they callled and what does it cost? Or would I be better off just taking it to the shop to have it all done?

are you maybe talking about a vacuum bleeder? that would be kinda pricey just for you clutch.. you dont have any one to help? friend, brother, sister, girlfriend, mom, dad? lol. you just need some one to step on it a few times while your down there.

I got a one man bleeder kit at autozone for like 7 bucks. It's just a little bottle with a magnet on it so you can put it above the bleeder and it has a hose running to the bottom. Works great. I'll never use the two person system again.
You could make one yourself with some hose and a bottle.
There are all kinds of hose. Fat hose. Skinny hose. Greasy hose. Black hose. White hose. LOL
