Exclamation 86 4Runner Blowing Black Water out exhaust

I have a 86 Toyota 4Runner The motor has 258,000 miles on it .It runs out real good it started blowing black looking water its not coming out of the radiator ..My first thought was blown head gasket or blown head but my question is why isnt it mixing oil with the water or vise versa? Is the head bad? Can anyone help me

Could just be suit and crap mixing with condensation and dripping out? What do you mean by blowing?

If it is just dripping when you first start it up I'd assume your exhaust pipe just has suit and carbon buildup mixing with condensation.

Are you doing a lot of short trips in the vehicle...even just recently before you noticed this?

A compression test will verify any concerns for the headgasket. If you've not noticed any loss in power, though, it's not a problem. As humid as TN gets, I'll bet it's just condensation from short trips/stop and go driving.

Not trying to be an alarmist, or tell you what your issue is. But here's my thread:
https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...roblem-129480/

I'm having the problem of my 4Runner (which runs great by the way) losing oil and blowing significant amounts of black crap out of its tailpip upon startup. You can read the thread for a full run-down on what's going on and what I've found.

Best of luck to you.
