Will a 3.0 from a 88 4runner work in a 95 4runner? I believe that the motor mounts are different where they bolt to the block. My situation is my 95 4runner has a blown motor and my brother is getting ready to put a 3.4 in his 88 runner. I was thinking about using the 88 3.0 long block in the 95.
Does anyone see any reason why this would not work or be a bad idea?
