1st Post-Body Lift & Roof Rack Done!
Newbie here, picked up this 4runner about 2 months ago all stock w/169k on the odometer. Got it as a hunting/trail rig, so I don't tear up my Tundra. I'm new to the 4runners, but have owned and wheeled many Yotas since my first 83' std cab in high school.
I just finished up putting the 3" body lift on 2 weeks ago, it already had 31's stock w/4.56 gears and LSD diff. Also finished the roof rack this last weekend and got my off-road lights mounted. It had no roof rack at all when I got it and I used info from YT to mount up my roof rails using nut inserts and some Uni-strut I had lying around, it turned out very strong and works really well.

Nut inserts?
What kind of Nut Inserts did you use? I have a 93 4Runner and have a stock roof rack to go on it but I haven't found a way other that pulling down the head liner to put it on. Would make it much easier if I could find another way. Thanks.

I went through the same thing trying to figure out how to mount a roof rack, I searched YT and there is a great thread by Reggie 00 (thank you sir

I used the threaded nut inserts and silicone to seal them just like he did, it worked great, been pouring here for a couple of weeks straight and not a single leak
.
Great site here and thanks for the welcome.

Yep, factory LSD, according to the door jam decal
, haven't tried it yet but going hunting this weekend so maybe I'll find some mud to try it out on. I'm planning on 33x10.50x15 tires when the $$ allows, for now I'll run the 31's. Thx for the welcome.

I made the rack myself, I couldn't find one that was as long as I wanted and they are way over-priced, so I made it, it's 38x60x7.
