For Sale: International Harvester Scout 800 A, 1968. I purchased this as a project vehicle but found another vehicle as a project that will suit my time situation a little bit better. I do not know much about the vehicle, but here is what I do know:

Does not currently run, but....

Body: Good and Straight. Rear was in a collision where someone had hit the rear tire carrier, crunching the tail gate. There is a new tail gate.

Tires: New ATs

Title: Clean. Seems like this has not been driven in the last 4+ years

Rust: Very little on the body, however, the passenger/driver pans and body mount will need replaced as well as welds and seams on the rear deck.

Engine: 304...looks clean and the previous owner had replaced the alternator, plugs, cap, wires. Did have running but could not get this to turn over.

Fuel- Driver side holds fuel, but should be pulled, washed, and lines checked.

D44 and T98. Needs front drive shaft.

Overall, I think there is a lot of potential,,,just will take more time than I can dedicate right now.

I found this listing through a google search. I previously saw this ad in Craigs list, and have been trying to call this number for about a week and a half. Have left several messages, I am interested in the Scout, but want to know more about it, and see it in person. Thanks.
