i have a 4.88 spooled 3rd for sale 500.00 for a toyota 8". I also have a 5.29 86 toyota ifs gear setup still in good shape 50.00.. the 4.88 spool 3rd. nothing worng with it. installed it and ran it 2 feet in my drive way. only reason why im selling it is because i needed 5.29s and i got 4.88's stupid me. i live in chino, ca lemme kno

 

why would anyone want to spend half a thousand dollars to buy a used spooled 4.88?

for less than half that, you can get a used factory 4.88 and weld it...

 

well because i bought the complete 3rd from trail gear for 600.00 and i ran it 2ft up the driveway and took it out... when you say used that sounds like ive used it on the trail and .. the gears bearly show any marks.

 

and if you dont know how to weld, what would it cost now

 

What are the details on the 5.29 IFS set up. Is that a ring and pinion? R&P plus install kit? Already in the diff? Let me know.
