timing for 87 tubro?

what deg* should it be at i the factory sticks long gone and the only marks i have at 0 5 8 and 12 i have it at 8 now to be safe but it was at 0 before and ran doggish

My '86 calls for 5? BTC with the connector shorted.

5 hmm ok well i guess i'll kick it back then but the truck did come alive alot more i'll say! i mean all i run is 93 and alot of injector cleaner!

oh its shorted trust me ! I build a ton of 80's cars i'm just new to the trucks!
