01 Tacoma lift?

So ive been looking into lifts for my 4 cyl 4x4 01 Tacoma.... i came across the 4" pro comp lift and it looks pretty good.. but i also heard anything over 3" you have to change everthing... a diff drop wont help the cv's. so any input if anyone has ever used this lift before. or any other suggestions for a good lift without spending 2 g's on the fabtech 6".

edit. im trying to fit nice 33's on it

I believe the 4" procomp lift gives you a new lower cross member so your cv angles stay the same. Is your goal to increase offroad ability or is it just a pavement pounder? That can help decide on whats the best for you especially if you're strapped for cash.

eh.. ill be more on the pavement. but i do go offroad. if it never got dirty id go all the time .. i jus think a 4" would look good with 33's have that kinda clearance that isnt to big it makes the tires look small but doesnt rub
