I have a 94 toy 3.0 4x4 and my throttle body hose is melting? Ever since the toyota dealership did the head gasket recall swap, it hasnt had any power. The truck lacks power so bad, it feels like I am driving with the E-brake on. I dont drive it much anymore but it runs good. Besides burning more fuel and loss of power I still love it. I just want to get to the root of the problem without spending a fortune. It has melted the T-body hose before but truck was overheating due to radiator. This time I dont know. 140,000 miles and should have some life left.

 

Which T/B hose? Can you post a pic?
