Where is it?

My truck is always dusty as all hell inside, and I'm trying to figure out why. I'm thinking the cabin air filter hasn't been changed in... oh..... 15 years.

 

So far as I know our trucks [3gen hilux] don't have cabin air filters. It was a device that came out after ours were built...
That being said if you were to crawl under the dash, take apart the air box and measure it you could probably go to toyota and buy a similar sized filter and Macgyver it in there...
Another option would be to try to contact a North African based toyota dealer... I was surfing the web for toyota around the world and came across the website for Toyota in that region and when you look for Hilux then look at options there is a cabin airfilter. there was one that was electrically powered like one of those "room air filters" that was mounted on the ceiling with a light in it. It was installed to replace the dome light. It looked very nice. I'll try to find the link and post it here for you...
