Good price for a 2000 Tacoma with 200K miles?

I found a Tacoma with the the following specs:

4wd
V6
auto
xtra cab
white
no bedliner
no sunroof
80% tread left on tires
seller is located in Bay Area, CA

Completely stock no engine mods, new water pump, new belts and fluids have been changed recently. Interior and exterior are pretty clean, would rate it 8 out of 10.

The seller is asking $8,900... you guys think an offer between $7.5-8K is fair?

Have you checked this out in person? Personally, I would not pay any more than $5k for a truck with 200k miles. That's a lot of miles. Even though it's a Toyota, 200k is 200k.

no more than 5k, wait around and get one with a locker you'll be glad you did.

I just went to look at it, it's more like a 6 out a 10 but it does have the locker option... thanks for the input fellas, I probably will hold out longer for something better
