i've done the break booster and gas tank, and my oil change is due about 200 miles. my question is do i put the seafoam in the oil now and run with it till the oil change, or put it in right before the oil change and run few miles?

and by the way, here is my seafoam report:

idle is much quieter and smooth, throttle response is fantastic. the most noticeable improvement after the break booster and gas tank treatment is the torque. i can tell by starting up from the second gear. before seafoam, it struggled, but now it has no problem at all, smooth with plenty of power.

if i have another car, i'd do it again, even just for the smoooooke.

 

I put Seafoam in my crankcase about 500 mi before the oil change to give it a good chance to work.

 

I personally wouldn't put it in more than 50 or so miles ahead of an oil change, but i'm not sure exactly what the directions say.

 

well, i just called Sea Foam to get a answer, here is what the tech said:

there are 2 ways to use the Seafoam, depends on what you are looking for.

1.) to use it right before oil change, put in crank case, drive it minimum 30 miles or 30 minutes, maximum 200 miles or 1 week, then do the oil change. what it does is to help the old sticky oil return to the liquid stage, so it will be filtered and down to the oil pan, drained out later.

2.) to use it after oil change, it helps to dissolve the sluge. but, when it's mixed with new oil, oil will get dirty much quicker than normal, the key is to monitor the oil color often, as every time refilling the gas tank. once oil is dirty, roughly 1000 miles, change oil. it may take severial oil changes to get most of the sluge out. the sea foam itself won't hurt the motor if someone runs with it for a long time because it's oil, but the dirty stuff may cause damage.
