I would like to find a late 80's or early 90's toyota truck 4x4 4 cyl 5 spd with a/c prefer no rust. I am in missouri so looking for something within a days drive, Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma etc... prefer something stock or mild mods to be used as daily driver.

I recently bought my first toyota, a 1989 v-6 5 spd a/c, lots of miles and I have replaced the head gaskets (milled the heads) new radiator and heater core, new windshield, and a new flywheel, clutch, throw out bearing and pilot bearing along with a lot of misc repairs. I love this truck, it runs great has plenty of power for a 3.slow and so far it gets 18 to 22 miles per gallon.

Heres the funny part, my oldest son is driving a new dodge neon and he wants this toyota. So if I can find another one cheap that maybe needs some mechanical work I would be very interested.

I'm a pretty good mechanic so I'm not concerned about finding one that needs a little TLC.

I know everyone loves thier toy but surely someone has one for sale.

I found one on craigslist, in Joplin Mo. I called the guy and he said he still had it for sale so I said great I'll buy it. He says whats your offer and I said I am willing to give you your asking price and pay cash when I pick it up at your convenience. He thought for a moment and said you know I think I'm going to list it on Ebay so why don't you just bid on it. I said because I saw your ad on craigslist and I want to buy it for your advertised price. He refused to sell it so I am still looking.
Any help or leads would be appreciated.
