How many quarts of oil does the 2006 4.0 V6 4 Runner require? I purchased the 4 Runner from a used car dealer and just noticed they didn't include the owner's manual. Service centers are closed now in my area so there is no one to contact. 2 dots on the dip stick. Waiting with the hood up looking for feedback. I need to hit the road early tomorrow. Please help.

Now...how to reset the maintenance light?

 

Here some info for ya. That engine takes 5.2 qts. Resetting the maintenance light: With engine turned off, push and hold down the odometer button and turn ignition to ON but don't start hit while still holding down button. Your odometer should show straight lines. Continue to hold the odometer button down until all lines dissappear. And you are good to go.

 

Make sure it is in odometer mode first.
