Hello all! It's been a really long time since I posted, I've been working on my truck for months and finally have it working. it was bogging out forever and I think i finally resolved the issue (replaced the distributor)

but now i have some new problems. I removed the carburetor and can't seem to find a gasket for it. all i can find is the rebuild kit and i already rebuilt the carb. anyone know where i can find a decent priced gasket or some gasket material? if i use material, what type should i buy?

also, i replaced the pcv valve and the enclosure that it pops into broke! I had to take care not to drop pieces into the valve cover. i can't seem to find this piece anywhere either.

if this all gets fixed, hopefully the truck will be in good running order.

AutoZone sells the gasket for the PCV valve. It's not actually listed in their catalog as for the pickup, but if you go to their wall with all the PCV valves, fuel filters, general emissions and replaceable engine components junk, then you can match it up.

I have the fuel injected 22R/e, but the part number for the gasket for mine (not sure if it is the same) is #730535 42057 at AutoZone.

 

cool, found the part with your number (same as mine)...i'll go to autozone after werk to get the pcv grommet. fortunately, i have my roomate's car. the only place close is kragen, and i hate that place.

so what type of gasket material should i get for the carb?
