WTB: Driver's side power window "multi-switch" for 1990 4runner

I broke my switch when I was trying to fix it. Now all windows are locked and I can't put the "lock" switch back together. Can't find it at local junkyards. I was told that I might be able to get one out of a Camry also. Please let me know.

You might want to try to email this seller on ebay, it doesn't look like he has much listed right now, but he hooked me up with a good price on a mirror, quick shipping and very courteous to work with...had a ton of 4Runner stuff

why can't you get the lock button back together?

the little spring flew across the room on mine but i found it. took about 15-20 tries fiddling with a little tiny jewler's screwdriver to get the spring into the channel it rides in.

if you have the parts it is possible to get it back together!

I took the switch out to look at it because I couldn't roll my passenger/front window down from the driver's side. I ended up having a couple small springs fly out on me, and I don't have any idea how to put it back together. If I did, I still don't think I would be able to roll the passenger window down from my side anyway. I was hoping to just clean the contact on the rocker, but I messed it up.

I'm no electrical expert, but I talked to a guy that said he could short out the window lock and bypass it, but his hourly rate was more than a new switch would have been.

Any other ideas? I'm definitely open to 'em

Got it guys.. I fixed my switch. Thanks for the inspiration Isaac, you had me get out the parts again and sit down to do it right. Took the length of the movie Quigley Down Under, but I got it. My original problem still exists - not being able to roll down passenger's front window from driver's switch, but I think if I clean the contacts I'll get it taken care of.

Thanks again.
