Ok, basically, I'm looking for something like this:



to put into my 1996 4Runner. I've got a tape deck now. What I need is a unit that's got a CD-changer port in the back so that I can connect an AUX input cable. I'll be then using a Scosche SLC4 output converter to run it to an Profile amp, but that's a different story.

I've been told that the double DIN units are a straight swap, although you do need the factory amp, so I guess I need one of them too.

Anyone?

PS. It would help a lot of the unit glows GREEN NOT AMBER, but that's not top priority.

If you don't need a tape deck, search for a stock Scion unit. I replaced my stock tape/radio unit with a Scion unit. With the exception of a little trimming of plastic it is plug and play.
