3.4 V6 EGR Situation

I have searched for a while on the EGR removal/block off/disarming topics. So far I have only found a plethora of information on 3.0 and the 22re. Is there any one out there with information on EGR location and a how to on the blocking off and or the disarming of the EGR system? Thanks for your help

Bruce

the ERG on the 3.4 can be seen on the driver side exhaust manofold. It will have a pipe coming off of it. If it doesn't then you most likely don't have an ERG.

Where is it supposed to be? I read a tread that you were heavily engaged in but the topic was a 3.0 not the 3.4, is this the only place that it would be? If mine doesnt have an EGR then what condition makes it possible for my 'california' verison not to have an EGR? If you have the answers then I really do thank you.

Not sure which thread that was of course i talk in a lot of threads...

Mine is a Cali version supposedly but i don't have an ERG (and i am SOOO glad). That may just be what they stamp on them, i was woundering why i didn't have it when i found that mine was a cali version.

Look at that post i linked to, that picture is what it will look like if you di have it and the post below is what it looks like if you don't. If you read more of them there is more talk about it as well.

Hope that helps.
