1998 (upgraded exterior to 2002) 4runner Limited 4WD
*Pending Sale*
I am sad to finally have to say goodbye to my baby. I have owned her since 12,000 miles and she now has 110,000. All oil changes have been done using Mobile 1 Synthetic and all service has been done at the Toyota dealer. Timing belt and waterpump have been changed. Interior is immaculate as the car rarely had more than 1 passenger (me) and the only real wear is on the drivers side portion of the seat where I enter the vehicle (and not at all bad for the age of the truck). The color is "Anthracite" which is basically dark brown. I get compliments on the color all of the time. It really compliments the rugged, yet refined looks of the 3rd gen. Paint has been clayed, buffed, and Zaino'd (waxed) each year and I would put the quality of my paint up against any vehicle. The headlights, tail lights, and front/rear bumpers have been swapped and upgraded to 2002 versions, making the vehicle look even newer. There are some great pictures of my 4runner in the following thread:

You're welcome to offroad her and I'm sure she'll do well, but I've never done so, as she has truly been a "street queen". I should also mention that the vehicle has Lojack installed (anti theft/vehicle recovery device) as well as a BugflectorII up front and in-channel window rain/wind guards.
Coming up with a price for something so precious was difficult for me, and the fact that I have spent so much to make it identical to a 2002 has complicated matters further. I think that my asking price of $12,000 is reasonable allthough I'll consider all serious offers. I've loved being part of the Yotatech community over the years and I would really love to have a member purchase my 4runner. Please contact me if you have any questions. Thanks,
Jeff
