Does anybody know of a great local mechanic in the Santa Cruz/Watsonville area? I have a 94 Toyota w/22re and know at some point, I will need some help from someone who knows more than I do about it. Thanks!

Lived there for a year.... but never took my truck to a mechanic during that time.... lot of help I am.

There is a 4wheel drive shop in Capitola. Don't remember the name. I think it was on the corner of Soquel Ave and Soquel Dr near Hwy 1. I saw some Yota's out there.... but being 2wd I don't know how much you would need their assistance.

There is also a 4wd group that meets at Tony & Alba's Pizza in Scotts Valley. Again, Yota guys but more of a focus on 4wd. But they are fun to hang out with and wheel with.

 

I'm baaaaaaack. Moved back to the Monterey Bay Area, still have the pickup and still looking for a local expert. Specifically, someone to install a timing chain/guides kit. Any recommendations out there for a knowledgeable, honest Toyota specialist near Monterey/Salinas/Watsonville/Santa Cruz? Has to be...
