know anything about firestone M/T

I am thinking about buying a set of firestone M/T 31x10.5 has any one ever run those our heard anything about them. They look pretty good and look to have the potential to clear mud quickly. Also how long will they last my truck sees mostly the road with very little off road.

It sounds like an A/T tire would be much better for you. They last longer, have better on-road characteristics, and are much quieter. You can't go wrong with Revos or BFG a/t.

many of the guys in the local ORV club run them. pretty tough, 4 or 5 ply sidewall IIRC, and nice road manners, for an M/T (don't think any of the members of said club trailer their rigs to the park)

right now i have the bridgestone duelers A/T and they become as useful as a set of drag slicks in the mud and even sand.

I have a set of them in the 33x12.50x16 size and they do well, I thought my set of BFG mt's were a little better, but i got a really good price on my set. They are pretty easy to balance, ride well for an MT, and not too loud on the highway

I have been running them for about 4 months now. Got about 5,000 miles on them. Still look like new, very little wear. Smooth and quiet on the road. Great traction in mud and sand.

I was a little concerned as this was my first ever set of mud tires, but I have been very pleased. No regrets.

Best bang for the buck tire ever. I've been through two sets of BFG's, and two sets of MTR's and these are by far my favorite for performance, wear, road noise, traction, everything. I have had one set of Revo's that I would suggest as my best tires ever, but that's if your not planning on alot of off roading. Get some Firestone's you won't regret it.

I have had he revos for about 4-5 years and the firestone destinations for about 4 months and i love them how ever i still have to get use to the road manners in the rain. personally they scare the crap out of me in a heavy rain storm compared to the revos.

are they the same as Bridgestone Duller M/T's? from the tread patern, they are identical. i just had a set of 32x11.5x15 (model D673) put on today. they cornered very well on paved road, the noise is loud by acceptable.

Being that Firestone and Bridgestone are the same company, that's not surprising...

haha nice. I love the rig. Love the fact that it didn't have the chrome wheel well surrounds (no rust there), some minor rust on the rig but I've taken care of all that (really a small amount of rust for all the salt air on that coast, that just EATS UP cars, haha)...........It's quite a bit different looking now though....SAS, some herculining, I eliminated all the useless vac lines, fixed the valve cover gasket leaks......it's running a lot better now

I think that's the kid, he had a boat and needed a bigger rig for towing or something.
