haha...the title kinda says it all

but after driving my 4runner on the freeway at a constant speed of 70-75 for like 10-15 minutes and then getting off the freeway, my 4runner just dies :/ like somebody turned the key...
so i start it back up and it dies again unless i barely give it gas...just enough to push it up to 1200 RPMS

so im confused here?

oh and everytime i start my truck in the morning or anytime after setting all day(hot or cold) it starts and then dies until i give it gas and push it up to like 1000-1200 RPMS

any suggestions on wat to replace?

 

Is it the 22r or 22re?

 

when was last tune up and fuel filter change, and air cleaner as well. the motor spins over fine just hard to start, is that right.

its a 22RE

air cleaner is failry clean and new i am not sure on the fuel or tune up...but i put tha motor together in feburary after it was sitting in the back of the truck for who knows how long....it has a slight knock...and yea the motor spins just fine and starts within the first second or two of turning the key it just dies right away...

where is this idle air control valve u speak of?
