Paint thinner, or nail polish remover.

aircraft stripper. just stay away from it once you put it on, lay the wheels outside (well ventilated area - no kids or pets) and pour the stuff on them, let em sit for 15-20 minutes and most of the paint will have just come off, then just rinse (better with a pressure washer though) and your done. just dont touch the stuff.....use gloves.

dont sandblast them if they are aluminum! they will end up being all pitted and stuff.. look for this stuff at your local auto body/ paint store..

i used it to take the clear finish off of the aluminum american racing rims on my s10
..

good luck

Yeah just get the aircraft paint remover. You can use a hard brush on it after it sits for a while and then just spray it with water. If it gets on your hand water will neutralize it. Try not to get it on the tire.

yeah, that stuff works wonders on painted rims. Put it on my alluminum supra rims and they came out looking great. As said though, don't get it on your hands, it kinda burns
