Where to buy parts - Dealer screwing me without kiss...

Hey all:

After reading prev's posts, am going to replace idler pully brngs & tensioner on '95 3.0 when I change HGs.

Can someone please advise where to buy. Called dealer today and they want $119.each for pully's and $69 for tensioner. YIKES!! Found a couple of place onlin about half the price but figure I'd ask the experts. If you have them, I'd like the part numbers too.

Thank you. I appreciate the help.

Respectfully,

DJ

Have you tried a parts chain like AutoZone, Advanced Auto, etc?

Try Northridge Toyota. Give them a call, don't send any PM and don't post on their thread in the ad section. I got all my parts from them from timing belt, pulleys, drive belt, water pump, thermostat, two gallon of red antifreeze and brake shoes. Great price and free shipping of over 100 bucks.

if the pulley bearing can be pulled out w/o destroying the pulley - bearings are a "non OEM" item in that most OEMs use "standard" bearings. Bearing shop should be able to match a bearing.

My Bad - Will define parts am looking for...

Hello again:

Well, we got the drive belts, P/S pump & pully off, Radiator out & will start on intake plenum tomorrow.

What I am wanting are the two timing belt pullys and timing belt tensioner. My apology for not stating correctly. FOund a couple of sites I can pick every thing up for aorund $150. As before, dealer wanted $90+ just for tensioner.

Ya'll wish this old man luck tomorrow. Hopeing for the best.

Respectfully,

DJ
