Pro Comp Extreme Mud Terrains
well boys and girls its time for me to start hunting for new tires these Duelers are getting worn out and ive been wanting to go up to 33x12.5's anyway but i searched the hell out of the BFG's Muds and the MT/R's and between those two i prefer the BFG's but 4wheelparts is taking 100 dollars off the purchase of a set of Extreme Muds by Procomp. thats very tempting but the thing with having a lockright i want a tire that will last a little longer since that increases tire wear do yall think this new Procomp tire has what it takes to be with BFG??

There's an article in one of the magazines this month where they tested mud tires. They gave a glowing review of the Xtreme M/T in all conditions EXCEPT mud ironically. They said it was OK in the mud, but phenomenal in the rocks.
I would guess that like most ProComp tires, the compound isn't that good, so they might not last as long. Obviously the tire is made by Cooper (as evidenced by the ArmorTek3 tag), though, so maybe they will.
IMHO, it's kinda funny how people get all concerned by how long the tires will last when they probably damage them on a trail or decide they want a bigger size before they're worn out anyways...
