90 lift

I have a 90 4runner 3.0 auto and my suspension is due to be replaced, I want to do a mild lift for a good price. NO BODY LIFTS and I really do not want to do a SAS yet. I am looking for maybe 3" of lift.

not very familiar with the suspension setup on these. I know what the t-bar is but what exactally do you mean crank on it? will that give a lift to the front?

adjust the bar or "crank it" to the desired height..maxed out (like mine) is around 2"s of lift, not the best way, gives a harsher ride and wears things out a bit faster but its cheap (-free?!-)

Just curious, why not a body lift?

Body lifts allow for bigger tires without increasing the CG as high as a straight suspension lift.

You might check out www.4crawler.com as well as search on t-bar cranking. There is a wealth of information on the bbs.

i am not a fan of how body lifts look. I have 33" tires on right now without a body lift and i do not intend to get bigger tires than that.
