compressing JPEGs???

hey, I'm trying to put the '99 in the Check Out My Truck section, and I just can't figure out how to compress those JPEGs enough, they're only 800x600 in downsized form, but they average 90-100KB... how do you make it work???

I want to post them within the thread.

Any advice on how to do this will be/is much appreciated...

once my cosmo site is back up, I'll post links to the downsized.rar and fullsize.rar files... full size digital pictures are so much better. I have mine of the Tacoma at 2048x1536.

Thanks,

Zip them and email them to me...

I think I might have some software that will do the trick...

Your standard JPEG has roughly a 4:1 native compression ratio that is why zipping them only gives 1 or 2% more compression. The only way you are going to reduce the size is by reducing the resolution, X & Y dimensions, or decreasing the quailty.
