so I swaped out my rear end in my 97 4runner(the axle seals were out and the wheel bearings and the axle shaft was bent on the pasenger side) with a axle from a 2001 4runner and as it turns out the drivers side axle on this one is bent can I just swap the shaft out of my 97 housing into the 2001 are the splines the same?

on another note I am looking for a locker to go in the 2001 rear that is now in my runner what should I get and where to get it?
