Hey Yotatech folks,

I need to replace the head gasket on my 1980 20R 4x4. I searched this forum and read a bunch about using a toyota head gasket instead of other brands. I saw LC Engineering has a head gasket and gasket set for the 20R. Anyone compared the toyota head gasket to an lc engineering one? They look to be nice from the website. Opinions? Thanks.

engnbldr.com probably hasa set for the 20r. Ted is a great guy to deal with as well.

I have replace 2 enginbuilder head gaskets now .. because of leaks . you can see it here .




replaced with OE




and havent looked back .






go OE ..

Thanks for the replies. Have been chatting with local mechanics and have been told the same - go Toyota unless I want to do it twice.
