What is this metal sheeting called?!

I've been searching around for a proper name for it for days. Some friends call it metal grating, homedepot had it but really thin and called it expanded steel. So whats the real name for it so I can call my metal yard?

Expanded Metal.

It starts as a solid sheet, it gets sliced, then it gets stretched, expanded.

Hence expanded metal.

When I buy it at the metal supplier, they bill it out as expanded sheet metal. And yes, it good for making a "deck" on the back of one's rig.

O ok so its inverted coreless diamond plate expanded grate steel?

I'm gonna use it for the base of my flatbed. How thick should I go? Is it measured in guage or inch units for this stuff?

expanded _________ (whatever it is)

I considered redoing my 5x8 utility trailer in that, but I've seen alot of it that gets pushed through over time, and if I put mulch or gravel on that It may fall through the holes. I went with pressure treated wood, I'm going to undercoat the bottom and stain the top after it dries a little. It turned out nice, and should last another 10 yrs. I hope....
