need a toyota parts guy to hook me up!

so i screwed up when i was tightening my belts and forgot to retighten the bolt on my belt tensioner pulley after tensioning my belt. long story short, it ripped my power steering belt to shreads and the pulley is somewhere on I696 in downtown detroit. i stopped by toyota, they said it would cost me like $160 for the new pulley mechanism, which is stinkin rediculous. see picture for what i'm looking for. if i remember right, we have some toyota parts guys on yotatech that can get us parts for cheaper than if we were to buy them. can someone help out? at least get me a name so i can PM them? thanks.

You could get the pulley from a junkyard or from one of the guys parting out in the classifieds. Then just buy a new bearing from the stealer.

you would think i could do that, huh. well, i can't. the entire assembly comes as one, including the bracket, bearing, bolt, tensioner screw, and pulley.

I know you can get the long bolt by itself and the bearing is available from NAPA (it's just a Koyo). The rest, yeah you might be looking at the whole assembly from Toyota. I'd find a junkyard or someone parting out their truck and rebuild it with a new bearing.

You can try (the online OEM parts I know of):
http://www.toyotapartscheap.com
http://www.1sttoyotaparts.com
http://toyotaworld.com

1sttoyotaparts quotes ~$112 for 44350-35010, the whole assembly.

My bearing in that pulley is getting loose so just a couple weeks ago I called the dealer to order a new bearing. They said that the bearing itself is not available, you have to order a whole pulley for $150. I took the pulley off and got the bearing number on it (NSK 6204DU) and ordered a bearing from Kaman Industries for $11. Savings = $139

By the way you can get these bearing from both Kaman Industries and Motion Industries. These companies have distributors all over the country.

Of course you still need to find the pulley.
