Toyota parts by military APO shipping to Afghanistan

(Please forgive the cross-posting of this to more than one forum, but I'd like as many people as possible to see it...)

Greetings everyone,

I'm located in Kabul, Afghanistan. The company I work for supports a US government funded contract (can't be more specific than that....)

For various reasons we've been having problems getting North American quality consumables and small spare parts. Toyotas are everywhere in Kabul, Corollas, Surfs and Land Cruisers in particular. However, the shops might have an oil filter, but it will be some weird brand printed only in Chinese lettering I've never seen before. I don't feel like trusting my life to no-name brake pads...

The vehicle in question is not really a 4runner, but pretty close:

1994 3.0 Turbo Diesel Surf
Right hand drive
Model KD-KZN130W-6KPQT
Engine 1KZ-TE

What I'm looking for is the contact information for a reliable Toyota parts dealer that will ship to us by US Postal APO. Within the APO weight limits for our address we can bring in quite a lot of stuff (no more than 70 pounds gross weight per box). I'm looking for:

Oil filters
Fuel filters
Air filters
Misc. spare hoses and belts
Brake pads
Other small to medium sized parts (pumps?)

The need is real and this is not a joke! If there are any ex servicemembers out there who would like to help us out, I will be extremely grateful. Please email eric.kuhnke@gmail.com if you can help.

-Eric

Hit up the Brits that have been on here if Phil can't get the parts. Surely they have a places to get parts.

If your company has reps in Qatar, UAE, Kuwait or any other country in that area try to hit them up for the parts. They have the models you are driving and the parts may be more readily available. If you are there on a gov't contract you may be able to use the intra-theater military flights to transport your parts from there.
