Hi-lift jack Question

Hi-lift jack Question
I'm in the process of doing my recovery mods and was wondering which hi-lift jack size I should get for a 2.5inch lifted 4runner?
Does is matter if I get all steel, all cast or, steel/cast?
What's a good place to get one? I was thinking something like this.. http://www.4by4connection.com/hija48sst1.html
and is there anything else i need to know when choosing one?
thanks.

do you have sliders? i see a highlift as pretty much useless with out something to put it under...
i think the shorter of the two, the 48" should be fine. especially if you dont do anything absolutely crazy...

id get the 60. i have a 48" and its OK for street/level use, but runs out of usable lift quick out on the trail..esp if the truck is up in the air and your only level ground is lower than the other 3 wheels...

Yep, without the right bumpers or sliders you are screwed with a high lift as a jack. It will work good as a cum-a-long so a 60" is the way to go, if you can use it. If not then use the money for a good cum-a long. Mike
