We have a 2000 4 Runner SR5 and it has a seperate buttons for lock and unlock, there is also a rear window down button and a panic button.

I believe that your bottom button is for a seperate vehicle, so your remote can be programmed to unlock another Toyota.

I think it's the same remote used in all sorts of other models. May be a trunk button on other cars.
