Groits Bos Wax;woodberts Surf
Well I finally got around to trying out the Groits BOS. A special thanks to Corey I still don't have the "Porter Corey" or the clay but this was a good wash then hand wax/remove with a good Chamois cloth.
Here are the pictures.

Looks great man. I gotta try that stuff too. You did it all by hand? You gotta get the PC.

I just hand-washed, hand-clayed, and hand-waxed mine with all the Griot's stuff too(took 5hrs). Claying actually had to be done by hand because there was just too many curves on the body that the clay pad could not get to. BOS is the Best wax i've ever used hands down. I now wish my car was black, cant wait to see the difference with Porter-Cable that i just bought.

Hey Woody, looks great!
Post some more pics when the weather clears up
Glad you like the wax.
Yes, it will be tons easier once you get the PC.
I did the power clay & wax a few Sundays ago in about two hours for the whole rig.
So much faster, and your hands don't get tired.

2001Millrunner,
Welcome to the forum. Where did you buy the Porter Cable and how much did you pay?

just type 7336 in search field, boom. =), you do have to get the velcro backing plate separately. I looked everywhere, griots garage has one and it's the easiest to get that...try Amazon.com before you buy'em tho

Hey Woody,
I was also looking on Lowe's site but didn't find anything. However, I believe the Corey Cable is actually model 7336SP, Variable-Speed Random-Orbit Sander (6") with Polishing Pad.
Your rig looks great!
Edit: 2001MillRunner's trick does work; I started my reply before his was posted.

Hey Woody,
You must be reading my mind.... I was looking to compare the same things.
There is a difference between the 7336 and the 7336SP, albeit a small one - the SP model inculdes the polishing pad, whereas the 7336 model does not.
On the Porter Cable web site, the SP model is technically listed under "Polishers", and the 7336 model is listed under "Sanders". Its the same basic tool though.

i think i got the 7336SP then because mine came with polishing pad . I wasnt sure if i want to use it because it's a lot firmer than the Red wax pad from Griot's and it maybe because it's specifically deisgned for Polishing. Maybe Corey can tell us this..
have fun guys, my arms are still sore
but nothing beats running your hands through the hood after you're done claying

Thanks Corey. I'm going to add your wax link to my favorites.
For some reason, I keep getting an error when I try and order the PC from Lowes website.
I guess I'll have to call them.
