Exclamation Not sure whats going on here, 1990 4runner v6 3.0 letre manual

Okay, so lets see where I can start. I have a 1990 Toyota 4Runner, V6 3.0 litre with a manual transmission. It has about 250,000 kms on it.
I recently dug myself into this car and I am trying to get it running.
First time I tried to start it, it died within 3 seconds every single time. After a while of playing with it and feeding gas directly into the engine it started to run a bit better and barely moved under its own strength. It was even idling by itself. The next day it was the same as when I first tried it, it died after a few seconds if it even turned over. I started to get suspicious that it wasnt getting enough fuel so (after much work fiddling with hoses and bolts) I replaced the fuel pump, and removed the fuel filter to make sure it was not causing problems either. No luck there. I found out that it wasnt a fuel pump problem at all and that it was an electrical problem. There was no sparks comming from the distributor when i routed my fuel pump with power from a fuse, possibly because it bypassed the computer and so it didnt know it had fuel so it didnt know to spark? anyway yeah im out of ideas. I do believe it is electrical, injector, or fuel pressure regulator related. It has fuel pressure up to the fuel pressure regulator, a lot of it, but still no go... Any help?

If you don't know about this online manual it's a good start for troubleshooting. If I were you, I'd start troubleshooting without bypassing anything to better determine the problem. Post up your findings!

okay so

Its running now, but its only running on two cylinders. Checking it out under the manifold now. I think it's just not enough gas getting to it, new fuel pump and filter isn't a problem. Not sure why then. The cylinders that are working are the ones opposite of each other in the distributor, 2 and 5 I believe.
