Here's the pics you asked for but they don't really explain much:





The split chargerelay (Lucas 33A relay) is the small blue box at the top of the 1st picture and next to the ordinary battery in the last pic. It is suitable for charging two independant batteries from a single source and there is an extra terminal for refrigerator operation.

So far I've had no problems with it.

 

Thanks for the pics. That is a clean install. I wish I had that much room under the hood.

 

More room = smaller engine, so I'd trade my second battery for a bigger diesel lump anyday! 4.2 litre 1HZ!
