Doxon Toyota now customizing FJ Cruiser and Tacomas

Going into work this morning I spied a blue FJ Cruiser in the front of the lot at Doxon Toyota.
I noticed right off the bat the lift and the ARB bumper.

Last week when I was down there to pick up my breather union I saw a new 4 door Tacoma sitting on 33x12.5" tires, and about a 3" lift, it looked good.

The FJ I saw this morning I just called on, and they are working in conjunction with a shop, and it has a designated name of the rig, but I forget the option package they are calling it.

It consists of:
ARB bumper
Warn winch
OME 3" lift
285x70x17 tires
custom wheels

Pretty cool of them to do this, and they will see if it sells or not.
If so, they may end up doing a few more or offering this off road package to new buyers.

I have seen a few FJs done at dealerships online, and some were downright blingy.
The way Doxon had theirs done is the same way I would do mine.
In fact mine will be in the shop tomorrow getting:
ARB bumper
My old Warn XD 9000 winch
IPF fogs
OME 3" lift

It is nice to see a dealer getting it right after seeing so many other dealers putting on bling.

It sure will.
A lot of dealers are doing this same lift, and the lift is being professionally installed.

I even asked the service manager about cutting the wires to make the A Trac and E Locker to work at the same time (thread in this section) and I told I would rather see Toyota flash our computer or do it the way they are enabling it on the new TRD SE FJ Cruiser instead of me ruining my warranty.

He said it would not void my warranty at all.
Now if I was cutting all sorts of wires under there, then yes.
But Toyota has already activated the A Trac and E Locker together, so it would be OK for me too.

It also depends on your individual dealership.
My dealership is into mods

They want me to swing by next week so they can get some pics of my rig to put on display there.

It did not happen today, mother nature struck again.

I showed up at the shop, the techs did not

Big ice and snow storm here, not safe to really be out today on the roads unless you have to.

I had to go to work, part of my job is ice/snow removal.

Doxons moved that ARB'd FJ up closer and the front is driven up on something to raise it.
It looks so hot!

Corey, which front springs are you going with? I put 886's on mine, but I don't have a bumper yet. Fab Four keeps delaying the damn thing.

886 up front for the weight of the ARB and winch, and 895 back aft.

If I add the rear ARB bumper in the future, I may have to swap out for the 896.
Sbechtold should know on that.

Did not see the ARB blue rig this morning.
Either it was moved or sold.
More than likely sold.

Yesterdays weather may have convinced someone to grab it.

The ARB is around 90, and the winch is around 60 or so.
Add the line in, and you are around 160 lb or better.
I am going by my ARB I had on the '91, the FJ might be more.

Corey, I have seen the ARB Bumper weight posted on many forums and it's way more than 90lbs. More like 150 or so without the winch. But as always, I could be wrong.

Thanks, I am sure it is more too.
www.trdparts4u.com under their new FJ site may have the info on the ARB.

We have a black FJC sitting on our lot here at Champion with pretty much the same add ons.

ARB BullBar
Warn M8000
OME 3" lift
285 ProComp tires
Fancy Streetlock (fake beadlock) wheels

This one will sell and so will the others they plan to build!

So with the winch (XD9000) we are looking at around 220 or so.

The XD9000 weighs in at 85lbs so your looking at about 235 total.

What did you end up paying for your XD9000 if you don't mind me askin.

I bought it from my local Central 4WD back in Feb. of '02 for around $600 to $650 or so.
Yeah, it was a deal.
I think it and the roller fairlead back then went for close to $750 or more.

I had bought an ARB bumper from them the week before, and when I went back for the install I was going to go with the M8000, but they were out, and offered me the XD9000 instead.

I also run the Ramsey Wireless with it.

It works up to 100' away
They have vids on the above site too.
I will add the Ramsey Remote to my setup in the future.
Hopefully this stuff goes on soon.

Man, you gotta good deal on that winch. I run a M8274 up front and a M8000 on the rear of Zilla with incab control switches for both winches mounted on the door. Here are a couple of pics of my switches:
