3VZ A/C compressor vs 5VZ A/C compressor - is one better than the other?

I'm in the middle of my 5VZ swap and have both the donor A/C compressor and the original A/C compressor in my '91 Pickup. Is one preferable over the other?

My truck was already converted to R134a at some point before me and the system works great. The compressor from the donor truck has about 350k miles on it but bearings spin well and appears to work fine. From what I can find, the 5VZ compressor is a Denso 10PA17C and the 3VZ trucks used a Denso 10PA15C compressor. There's other little differences, but mainly it seems the 10PA15C was designed to work with R12 and the later 10PA17C was designed to work with R134a. I wasn't sure if, assuming the system is running R134a, one was better than the other.

I might just run the one that's already in my truck and swap the pulley and clutch so I don't have to evac the system, but curious if there's any opinions on this one.
