I am going to pick up these steel wheels from 4x4 parts: https://www.4wheelparts.com/Wheels/P..._pn=PCW51-5883
They are 15x8 with 3.75" back spacing. I also have a 2" body lift.
Next, I need some new tires. I am just going to get some all terrains because I mainly daily drive it. My goal is 33s so next, what width would you recommend and what type of tire? I think I need some LTs because I spend some time running about 15 PSI when I go to the dunes about 4 times a year.
EDIT: 15s will hit my callipers so I will go with there 16s which have more spackspacing as well. They are 16x8 with 4.25" backspacing.
Should I go with 33x11.5s? 12.5s seem a little wide...

2700 RPMs at 70mph - stock gearing I assume??. I think it will be a dog with 33s but traffic here has everyone driving 10mph anyway.
These wheels are an inch wider than stock and the same backspacing - so If I decide to go with the stock wheels and no wheel spacers, will 33x12.5 rub *bad* during normal driving? (Like U-turns and whatnot...)
Maybe 33x11.5 is better??

So I think I have to order metric tires. I dont see why we dont use absolute values. This aspect ratio thing is silly.
Anyway, the closest thing to 33x11.5 I think is 295/75. That sound correct?

Needing wheel adapters will be a strong possibility, otherwise both frame on turns and more so upper a-arm rub are likely going to be issues.
I had the same issues with LT285/75r16 and 4.56 (stock split tri-spoke) backspacing.
For reference, my husband's 99 had not-too-bad frame rub on turns with LT265/75r16.
Tire brands vary in size, our experience is with Michelin/BFG.
