They probably mean the cab and such. You can read the paint code off the firewall tag. Plenty of info online about these, I think. The tag will have a c/TR code number the first part is the paint code.

i guess maybe you could find multi colored layout like that, but I doubt Santa is selling his sleigh.

(PS: color blind, tan is in the green family, cut me some slack)

 

Good that it came from the same family, with a 5 digit odometer on the 81 and earlier trucks it is hard to verify mileage

yep no truck came stock with different colored body parts that I am aware of unless it was painted that way for a gov't agency or business.
Is the guy selling old enough to be the original purchaser?

If this truck is in awesome shape i wouldn't worry about the paint, they are getting harder and harder to find.

Does this truck have the side shifting L43 4 speed? if so finding parts to to keep the shifter from being really sloppy.


Hopefully it has the top shift L-45 4 speed or someone threw in a 5 speed
