Gap Guards or Fender Apron Seals

Hey all -

I'm trying to figure out what the correct shape of these fender apron seals are (or better known as "gap guards"). I'm looking for a set and/or make another set and I can't figure out what they look like.

Also, is the apron seal on the driver (LH) side one-piece, whereas the apron seal on the passenger (RH) side two-piece? The OEM part numbers are giving me some trouble.

OEM part numbers:
(LH) side: 53736-89107
(RH) side: 53736-86108 (FR) and 53737-89105 (RR)

There is a "note" on the part numbers for the RH side to signify FR and RR. I'm guessing this is two-piece apron seal; FR is the front and RR is the rear? Does that sound correct?

Can someone verify the shapes of the OEM apron seals? Are they the same shape on both sides, but one side is split in two pieces?

Thanks!

on my '87, the driver side apron is two pieces; the passenger side is one piece.

Thanks! I totally forgot I had another parts truck that might still have them, so I checked and removed them to compare. Here's a couple pics for future reference.
Driver-side, two pieces.

Passenger-side; one piece. Two individual parts shown here, from two different trucks I have. One piece is missing part of the total length. The other is complete.

They're like mudflaps for the bottom of the inner fender well. I think the idea is to protect the engine bay slightly more from road spray.

I recently made a front passenger side from some scrap rubber sheet.

I fluid film the ˟˟˟˟ out of my 4runner's frame and underbody, so I leave these guards off as it allows easy access to the top of the frame. they serve very little purpose outside of trapping dirt and water from the inside.

Thanks for posting those. If I can't find any of them, I will make some, and use the attached as a pattern. Obviously, these are derived from your pictures. Thanks again. Left forward seal
Left rear seal
Right seal
