More details.. history, and testing completed with specific results..

You have too much or not enough of the fuel air or spark for the compression you didn't mention?

Does it run on starting fluid?

Sorry didnt even think about that my mind is a million miles an hours right now. I do not know the trucks history when I bought it the woman said it had been sitting for 10 years untouched, the man told me 2 years with little detail except the truck had no power no matter what no lights noises turn nothing so it was parked and left. So, here's my move, I established that the motor wasn't locked turning it by wrench,it has oil and no obvious contaminants in oil, gas obviously bad so I tested with new gas after letting as much as I could out from lines and carb the distributor rotates so timing chain is at least intact and connected I have spark on all 4 cylinders, I got nothing from ether either it made no difference the plugs were in the wrong order I believe the firing order to be 1432 so that's what I put it in, and now I think timing may be off because the rotor does not point at cylinder 1 at tdc but I'm also unsure and heated some more input before I tear the timing cover off (edit- I haven't had the chance to do a compression test yet but with finger over the hole method I did have some compression)
